The symbolic meaning of the blackbird speaks of the great mystery of life. The blackbird is a potent symbol for those engaging in a spiritual journey and walking their spiritual path. These totem animals teach us about trusting the magic of life and our own intuitive gifts that we cultivate along the way. It is said that all birds that are black do not give up their secrets easily and are powerful partners in one's path to their shadow realms. Remember this - that which is not seen is merely unknown and because it is unknown it remains unexplored. Through that understanding, you can create a curiosity to dig into those parts of you that are currently locked away and with the help of a skilled guide, you can garner the courage you need to take that dive.
Our bodies – physical and energetic - have a magical connection to all things. At Black Bird Healing, I believe that the most profound healing we can cultivate comes from inside our bodies and through our heart’s connection to this truth. I believe that - on a primal level - all the answers we seek reside in our connection to the divine and can be found through the excavation that happens when you take that journey inward to access the deep and powerful well of knowing that is waiting for your mindful attention. I value Sangha (spiritual community), freedom, love, compassionate self-awareness, divinity, choice, inclusion, and the fierce connection we all have to this living breathing universe and Gaia (mother earth). Kendra is gentle holding sacred space with openness and safety. With arms wide open she welcomes you to come as you are with a softness that allows you to surrender to the process. Her presence , the way she listens, and her sacred voice hold you in way that feels warm and comforting. I have experience both 1:1 sessions and group and both have filled my heart with so much love , forgiveness and compassion for myself. She holds this matriarchal empathy that does not ask us to give up your own divinity but instead in sisterhood is there to support and guide you as you unravel and un-spiraling the old stories. Kendra knowledge is beyond the information but integrates the energy, the trauma, being a portal of healing with free will.
